In the summer of 2021 we made a life change plan to move to Texas from a border state. We were so furtunate to be referred to Michael Eagan with Brent Germany Team Real Estate. We met Mike and instantly felt like he understood what we were looking for in our next home, had the patience to let us find our way to the right community for us, the right subdivison, the right home and floor plan and the styling we wanted, all with honest feedback an opinions we needed from someone who is our agent, not just a realtor trying to get us to buy a home.
We went all over northern Dallas and finaly settled on a home builder in Melissa, TX. Mike helped us pick the plan, the lot site, was there every step of the way in the design process and selections, and continually kept in touch to talk, answer questions, give his opinion and feedback, check in on the construction, and to just be the comfort one needs when building a new home. Mike was able to help us find a rental in the same neighborhood as we were building to allow us to have quick access to the home as it was constructed.
And all the way up to closing, Mike Eagan and the Brent Germany Team stayed right by our side, over 370 days from contract to closing. Not once did we ever feel Mike and his team were not a phone call or text away.
We have built and bought five homes in our lifetime and the absolute hardest, longest, most trying, experience has been this one….but not because of Mike Eagan! HE made the difference to help us get through the long process as an agent, an advocate, a supporter, and a friend.

We were very lucky to have Lauren as our realtor! I should mention that my partner and I were first time home buyers when Lauren was our realtor. On top of that, not only were my partner and I trying to purchase a house in Dallas during an intense seller’s market but because of where he was going to be employed, we were also primarily interested in buying in an area (particularly new construction in the area) that was and still is considered a "hot" market. Lauren is hands down the best real estate agent in DFW, if not Texas. If you are looking for a realtor Lenny Carley is your man. When I was transfered with my company from Williston ND to Odessa my wife was looking at houses for sale on the internet while I was flying down for a week to see the operations. Some how she got on the phone with Lenny (Gods hands at work). She called me after talking to him and said she had a good feeling about him and that I should call him. When I called we talked abit and he offered to come pick me up from my hotel and go look at some houses my wife had mentioned just to get a feel for what we were looking for. He picked me up drove me around to several places and we git to know each other more while we did. I will say I felt really good dealing with him, he wasn’t pushy and seemed like he genuinely caring more about getting to know us than pushing houses on us. During our ride he offered to come back and take me to the airport the next day for my flight. 32 weeks pregnant, single and searching for houses in the heat of a Texas summer I was looking for efficiency, patience (as I consistently changed my mind) and someone who could explain processes with candor. The ability to break it down and answer questions effectively for my pregnancy brain without sounding condescending.
Rick adapted quickly to my needs and we were off to hit a pre-delivery deadline! This was my experience through the process.
Persistent - Rick is on the phone with the sellers vs. just email and texting. There were a handful of houses we wouldn’t have seen without his persistence in calling the seller. Due diligence - Rick will research houses you send him before going to look and pointing out anything that might not meet your criteria before going all the to the property. Knowledgeable - with 20+ years of flipping houses, and has an eye for details that other realtors might write off as the house’s “custom features” Not pushy - he was patient with me at the beginning of the process when I changed my mind several times , but adapted quickly when we were nearing the deadline. He even worked his magic to get through all the closing tasks quicker than normal so I was able to close a couple weeks before my due date He cares! In today’s age where time is money, efficiency means digital interface he really takes the time to make you feel like a friend and even checks in on you well after the buying process has been completed.
If you’ve been on the hunt for a realtor, you need not look any further. Rick is your guy, you won’t be disappointed!
