My husband and I met Bart in 2023 through friends who preceded us in our move to TN. We first spoke with him by phone to let him know where we wanted to move and what we were looking for in a home. When we arrived in February 2023, Bart had several homes set up for us to look at in addition to those we had looked at online. Unfortunately at that time we were unable to commit to buying a home as ours had not sold.
While waiting for our home to sell we continued to look at homes Bart sent to us as well as homes on other realty sites. Bart stuck with us for a year and a half while we listed and sold our home. He traveled far and wide, spending quite a bit of time, gas money, and effort looking at homes for us, providing pictures and videos. I spent a lot of time talking on the phone and exchanging emails with Bart discussing our likes, wants, and needs in a home. Bart knew us well enough that he recognized what homes and areas that were not going to be what we wanted. He always kept us updated and informed of Market trends.
Fast forward to June 2024. My husband and I came to Tennessee again to look at homes in earnest as our home was under contract and time was of the essence! Bart had multiple homes set up for us to look at. Unfortunately, several of the homes were not going to work out for a variety of reasons. We returned home worried. I made one more trip out to Tennessee to look at a beautiful home that I found online in an area we really wanted to be in. Once again it didn’t work out because we were outbid on the home. During the remainder of my stay, Bart and I put about a thousand miles on our cars looking at other homes throughout Middle, East, and North East Tennessee to no avail.
Now we were really worried as we had to be out of our home in just slightly over a month and we had no place to go. That’s when Bart really got to work. He asked us to look outside of the box a little bit. He searched the areas that we wanted to live in and asked us to expand our price range just a little. Of the homes he found we narrowed it down to two. Bart video toured one home with us. We felt comfortable enough In Bart’s knowledge, honesty, and experience to do a video tour of the home with him. We knew he understood what we we’re looking for. If he felt that home would meet our specs, we would put an offer in, without "personally" looking at the home. Bart did a great video tour with us! We quickly put an offer in on that home. We are now the proud owners of a beautiful home in Lenoir City, Tennessee thanks to Bart.
Just know that Bart will go that extra mile and spend that extra time for you and with you when you’re looking for your home in Tennessee. He has quite a bit of knowledge about East Tennessee. He has contacts in Middle Tennessee to assist you if you’re interested in that area. We just can’t say enough good things about Bart and his effort to help us in finding our home in East Tennessee. When I met Tom and Greg they seemed confident that they could sell my house in 3 days. I was a little skeptical, but after interviewing several realtors I decided to go with them. I took their advise on what I needed to do to finish up and get my house on the market.
I had just finished with the final fixes to the house and was ready for pictures, when the Covid 19 pandemic kicked into high gear. I was sent home (to my new house) to work from home and await financial ruin. Within the first 12 hours of it being on the Market they had some 16 or so potential buyers lined up to view it and in 24 hours they had it sold for 4,000 above asking with no additional fixes! My wife and I had a truly remarkable experience with Honour Wright. We were in Wisconsin, and trying to buy a house somewhere in Eastern Tennessee. She was constantly responding to things, providing expert advice, and even chatted with the seller’s realtor to clarify and reassure, which is a big reason the sellers chose us. It was incredible. She literally went the extra mile every step of the way. I know we may not have gotten this house if we had gone with someone else. She was the difference maker, and we can’t thank her enough! Plus, she even provided a few special gifts once we finally closed on the house! She truly wants to serve, she’s an expert in what she does, she cares about you, and she gets things done quickly. We had a great experience with Richard and Weichert.
To begin with, we interviewed several realtors and Richard was the only person that came prepared to listen our questions and concerns and take thorough notes. He later returned with a very thorough and professional presentation that included all of the information from his notes. We discussed advantages and disadvantages of several listing price points.
Richard also writes his own listing description based on his initial meeting and walkaround of the home. This is becoming more rare as some realtors are turning that task over to AI. Many neighbors in our community commented that they were very impressed with the write-up that had a clear personal touch no AI system can match.
Richard and Weichert did a great job of marketing the house with professional photos, a 3-d walkthrough and marketing material for potential buyers. Richard and his Weichert colleagues ensured our house received maximum exposure through many open-houses which proved to be crucial in the sale of our home as that’s what really ended up driving potential buyer traffic. On a few occasions, they did open-houses on Saturday and Sunday.
Due to the rapid increase in interest rates, there has been a slight downturn in the market for houses in our price range so it took a few adjustments to generate serious interest. Those price reductions were 100% our idea and Richard never pressured us to reduce the price. Once we had an offer Richard made sure to follow up with other agents whose clients had expressed interest our home and ultimately, one of those clients led to an offer we accepted.
Throughout the process, there were no issues with communication as Richard answered email, texts, and phone calls in a timely manner.
Overall, we are very happy with our experience with Richard and Weichert and would highly recommend putting him on your list of realtors you interview before putting your house for sale.
If you’re looking for a realtor who has your best interest at heart, Richard Rackley is who you want. On several occasions he passed on what could have been fast profits to ensure we were aware with certain aspects like a home’s backyard being in a flood zone. If you are dragging your feet, not wanting to get things done, then Tyler may not be who you need.
See with Tyler, your dream becomes his dream, priority, and very reason for existing. He gets things done, gives it his all, and doesn’t mess around.
This being said, Tyler will work with even hesitant buyers and sellers that may not know what they are after. He’s not pushy, but he really brings a passion and flare unseen in the industry.
During the height of the crazy post Covid buying where houses go under contract same day, I utilized Tyler for my first time home.
This man turns fast, a listing goes lives in minutes, I would contact Tyler, and that’s if he didn’t beat me to it first.
He knew we had a minimum square footage requirement, and that I wanted strong bones, with no negotiation on any major short term costs.
Not only did we manage to go under contract during such a crazy time in the nation, this guy somehow got me nearly 20k in SELLERS credits, during a period of time where folks had to sacrifice inspections, and often could go into bidding wars for 10-40% more then listing, with next to no inventory.
