We are incredibly grateful to have had Brian as our realtor. He made every house showing his main priority, He really did go over and beyond finding things we like. Once we found the house we wanted, Dana streamlined the process for us selling our condo and purchasing our new house. My husband and I were lucky to come across her and she was truly the angel that we needed to shepherd us through our first-time home buying process. From start to finish she went above and beyond for us. When we first connected with her, we were in the process of ending a contract with an agent who just wasn’t a good fit for us, and Michele was patient with us and supportive while we sorted that process out. Once we were officially ready to work together, we hit the ground running!
She is incredibly knowledgeable about the greater Pittsburgh area, guiding us as new listings came up so we had the best chance for success in our search. Her tenure and vast experiences throughout her career make her a wealth of knowledge on the endless number of things that pop up during the home buying process. Being that we were first-time buyers, we had a learning curve to get through and Michele guided us through every piece of the process with the intention to help us learn and be confident in our decisions. Given the intense competitive state of the real estate market, Michele provided us with many ideas for how to make our offers attractive, always taking the time with us to strategize our best course of action. There were many late night phone calls where the three of us would bounce different ideas and scenarios off of each other, with Michele advising us every step of the way. In this frenetic market, having someone sharp who’s always thinking a step ahead is invaluable.
Since my husband and I are both pretty picky, it took some time to find the exact house we wanted, but once we did, it was full speed ahead. In less than 24 hours the home was listed, we toured in-person, Michele wrote and sent the offer, led the negotiations with the seller on our behalf, strategized with us, and ultimately got our offer accepted and signed to ensure we had an agreement before a rush of other buyers came to see it the next day. To say it was a whirlwind day is an understatement. There is no one else that could’ve done what Michele did for us on that day. I mean it when I say that no one works as hard as she does - it’s just in her DNA.
Not only is she wonderful to work with, but her network of trusted professionals throughout the home buying process were wonderful as well. The lending company and inspector she introduced us to were second to none. The lender was not only the most competitive in terms of rates, but they gave a personal touch the entire way through that made my husband and I feel confident that we were in good hands and would close on-time, without any issues. And that is exactly what happened! We were able to close in 30 days (mind you, this fell in December over Christmas!) and had the ability to call our lender contact at any time for guidance.
I told Michele many times that even though when we find a house I’ll be very happy, I will also miss having an excuse to talk to her every week! She is a truly wonderful person, professional, and friend. There’s a reason why she has so many 5-star reviews, and we’re so fortunate that we could be one of them. Thank you, Michele. Absolutely LOVE her. This was the second time we used her. The first time she was brand new to real-estate, and we were interested in a house that was a foreclosure.
