I often describe my experience with Alan and his team as boutique-level service regardless of the price of the home you are buying or selling. You are NEVER pressured during the process and Alan ensures you are in the best position to make the most informed decisions possible. He is constantly reviewing current and historical data for the market and sharing his analysis of it with his clients.
What I believe truly sets Alan apart from the vast majority of realtors you will interact with during your lifetime is how humble he is with all of his clients. The longtime motto that has been printed on every piece of advertising material that I’ve seen from HomeGate Realty says "Service for life" and you soon begin to realize that it’s not just a slogan. Becky was incredible! I worked with Becky to first sell a property and then to buy a property afterward. She was knowledgeable and super supportive every step of the way. We interviewed several Agents, a little over a year ago. Chris is the only one that came to us with a hand full of comparables to our house as well as explain what would happen what to expect as we go through the process of selling our home. In the mean time We both had some health issue and he continued to check on us and was there to help us know what else we did/did not need to do to sell the house. His patience is off the charts and his professionalism is also. We are extremely happy with the job he did. There was a hiccup or two along the way, but he was on top of it and kept us informed of everything that was happening through the entire sale. Our house sold in four days and we got well over asking price! Also he found us a great agent in the state we are moving to and we are very happy with his referral. A house on our street was listed by Erik and the escrow was done in 2 weeks! We knew we wanted HIM to list our property, so we introduced ourselves to him and wanted him to represent us, for our real estate needs.
We had the PLEASURE of working with Erik Sanchez-Lima as our listing agent. He’s outstanding! He has a wide knowledge of the real estate market in the Northern Nevada area and was professional the entire time. The buyers agent took off on vacation during our escrow and unfortunately left them in the hands of another agent mid escrow who didn’t really seem to want to communicate with the buyers.
Erik really stepped up to help them out and communicated with them via this other real-estate agent. Not sure if it was the buyers agent’s poor communication or the buyers lack of understanding with how a real estate transaction works, but Erik literally worked MORE than the buyers agent did AND he represented us as the Sellers.
In our opinion, he deserved BOTH Commissions!!! He always kept us informed, especially pulling late hours when the buyers chosen home inspector made mistakes (inspector misread the date on the water heater and wrote down it was way older, wrote down a faucet wasnt working because the inspector didn’t know how a push stop worked on a new sink, etc). Erik made sure to have those errors noted correctly and politely educated the new inspector. The water heater was new and Erik showed him how to read the dates on a water heater. Erik provided a video of the bathroom sink stopper being pushed with one finger to open, allowing water in the basin to drain.
Erik kept his cool and handled all these situations professionally, everytime.
Erik has integrity and a strong work ethic - and is simply amazing to work with!
We highly recommend him and would hire him again for any real estate needs we have in Northern Nevada!

I can’t recommend Jack and his team highly enough. Jack went above and beyond the call of duty when we sold our house. We got multiple offers the opening weekend, but that was just the least of what he did for us. He gave us plenty of packing supplies for our move out of state; he helped identify an issue with our sprinkler system; he offered to pay some of our credit for the buyer repairs; when our cleaner canceled at the last second, he found a cleaner and even paid for it. On top of all he did to help us sell our house, he also cared about us as people. As we were driving across the country, he made sure that we made it to our destination safely. As a first-time homebuyer, I was understandably unsure of what the home buying process entailed.
