Professional - Amy totally understands the metro real estate market, and both listened to what WE wanted and applied her knowledge to what we were looking for in a home. If you’re thinking about selling your home "for sale by owner" (fsbo), Anita is a great example of why you should reconsider.
My partner just sold her starter home through Anita during what has lately become more of a buyer’s market in Albuquerque. It was a challenging sale due to multiple reasons, including the fact that the home backed up to a somewhat unsavory retail business and also a major road with a lot of traffic. The neighborhood also left a bit to be desired. Because of these factors, we were forced to wait longer than expected for the "right" buyer. We also encountered additional complications when the first pre-sale inspection was done, with the home needing multiple major repairs that we were unaware of.
Throughout the entire selling process, Anita was our guiding light. She was patient, knowledgeable, and fantastically responsive to our many questions and concerns (we had never sold a home before), despite the fact that this was probably not a particularly profitable transaction for her. I quickly lost track of how many emails and phone call we made to her during this process, and each time she treated us wonderfully. When we finally found our buyer, she was an excellent negotiator and found multiple areas where she could nudge things in our favor. Additionally, she was invaluable when it came to the inspection results, as she was able to use her extensive network of Albuquerque contacts to set up multiple estimates with home contractors for the repair work that was necessary for the sale to go through. We would have been quite lost without her.
When the time comes to sell our current home, we will be calling Anita. I strongly suggest that you do, too.

My husband and I were buying our first home and had NO idea what we were doing. We had been poking around on redfin for a while, and when we finally went to view a house redfin assigned us Anthony. Being randomly assigned a realtor was a bit disconcerting and we weren’t sure how it would all work out, but holy cow we are so lucky it worked out how it did. Anthony was so patient, so prompt and communicative. We saw many houses, probably 20 or more, and every time Anthony got us scheduled quickly and went out of his way to help us learn about the house and answer/find out the answers to our many questions. He never felt pushy or made us feel bad as the search went on and was very supportive and positive throughout the several months we worked with him–from meeting at his office to talk through the process until closing. We had a couple of really odd scenarios that came up and he navigated everything super well. Anthony also clearly has a lot of know how about the area, characteristics of local building styles and common features and issues in particular. He has a keen eye. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor in Albuquerque.

I purchased my very first home almost a year ago! I had no idea what to expect at first, I’ve heard buying a house can be very stressful. I am so happy that I decided to go with my former ice hockey coach, Franz, as my realtor. I had such a great experience working with both Franz, and his son Nick. Almost eight years ago my parents passed away and my sister and I inherited 2 properties for which we needed to obtain the current market value of for tax purposes. I had not dealt with a realtor since I purchased my own home, about 25 years prior, so I just Googled realtors and Franz came up first, so I called. He said he would be pleased to do it. He told me there would be no charge. I told him that he was spending his time to help me so I wanted to pay something. I don’t remember what we agreed on, but it probably really wasn’t worth his time. This year, we decided to sell one of our properties. I called Franz again. We determined a sale price and a date when we would list it. In cleaning out the property, I ran over our proposed listing date several times, but Franz was very patient with me. He even sent someone to help me when I needed to move heavier items. When finally listed, a buyer made a full offer, very quickly. There were details that needed to be ironed out, but Franz kept us informed every step of the way immediately. I would highly recommend Franz to anyone needing a realtor and I will not hesitate calling him again should I need him in the future.

I want to write about the excellent service my wife and I received from Trey Morelock with Realty One New Mexico. She became our realtor a little over a year ago. We were wanting to make the move back to the states from Costa Rica and thought NM would be a great place to land. I was moving from out of state and I cold called Will because he was an expert in the area I was interested in. Will immediately answered all of my questions and I found him to be extremely responsive and I felt he was actually giving me the time necessary for me to make informed decisions. When I flew into ABQ to look at houses Will had everything lined up as I had only about a half a day before I had to fly out again. Will showed me around and all of the houses I had wanted to see were ready and accessible on my tight timeline. I ultimately found a home that made sense for me and Will was able to work a time for me to see it a second time on very short notice. We made an offer and Will was an excellent partner in strategizing around the negotiation. Once my offer was accepted Will went into overdrive to line up inspections and since I was from out of town, it fell to Will to handle a myriad details on the ground. Will had a network of amazing resources for both inspections but also folks to speak with about any questions I had. All of these resources were professional and experts in their fields. During the escrow process Will even went out to the house and took videos of the repairs that had been made and went out of the way to make sure everything was corrected to my satisfaction. This particular home had septic, a well and many other more complex issues and Will deftly navigated through the process because he had so much experience dealing with this in the past. Will always answered my calls and, again, since I was not in ABQ, Will handled every aspect of the closing process. In addition, I found Will to be a genuinely great guy. He is affable, easy to get along with and I never felt pressured. He was always there for me for any issue along the way. I would highly recommend Will for anyone looking for expert advice and guidance in buying or selling a home in the ABQ area.
