Let me tell you… This time around buying a home was a whirlwind. We decided just a month after having our first baby that we were going to try and purchase a new home. We had never sold a home before so the process was very new to us. I think we must have gone through every scenario good and bad that could happen. From getting multiple offers within 24 hours…one of which being a cash offer for well over asking price to then having the cash buyers back out during inspection for no fault to us. Going back to the original offers and having to renegotiate only to accept another offer way over asking just for appraisal come back low. It has been a wild experience. Luckily for us, we had Abby and Bridget…We stubbled upon Abby by just sheer luck through getting connected by Zillow. We couldn’t have gotten any luckier, if it wasn’t for Abby and Bridget I don’t know if we would have gotten through this experience. Abby made the first time experience of selling a home and being contingent on a new one such a seemless experience. Even with all the crazy experiences we went through she was able to keep our nerves calm and did an incredible job of communicating with us throughout the entire process. Abby listened to all of our questions and concerns and always had answers for us immediately. Bridget put on an amazing open house which drew in a huge amount of showings and ultimately led to getting multiple offers within the 24hrs. She did an amazing job explaining all of the offers very clearly and helped guide us to make the best decision we could. Excellent agency with professional results and that personal touch you expect from concierge-level service. We bought our first house with the help of Scott Rist and it was a very positive experience.
After cycling through other realtors, we were sick of the late (sometimes days late) call backs and the persuasion away from the properties we wanted to see in favor of more expensive places that didn’t fit our needs.
We worked with agents from two other area big-name brokerages and while everyone was nice, one couldn’t stop trying to push our budget and the other was always trying to get us to buy his listings (conflict of interest much?). But after meeting with Scott and Twyla, we decided to give a "buyers agent" one last shot. My wife and I are so glad we did.
We called Scott at all hours of the day and evening and had multiple "drop what you’re doing and put in an offer" emergencies. He took us in stride and was always patiently advising us on the things that buyers (especially first-timers like us) overlook. He definitely steered us away from a more expensive disaster (it’s been on the market again twice already!), so we appreciate that our happiness with our home was more important than commissions.
Oh and one final note, why would you ever buy a house WITHOUT an agent?! You don’t pay for their much-needed service!!
Anyway, we highly recommend this team and will be using them for any real estate transaction in our future.
