My parents had been considering selling their home for over a decade, and every year we would receive a friendly check-in from Alice. Extended Cut: I’m so excited that Dave helped us find our first home, but I’m also a bit sad that the search is over because that means I won’t see him as often!
Our journey started in September of 2021 when my pregnant wife and I had this crazy idea that maybe we’d find a house before our firstborn would arrive. We connected with Dave and explained our situation and he said "Let’s meet. It’s not too early to start looking and the more you see, the more you’ll learn the market and know what’s important to you."
He showed us house after house and really coached us into what we should be looking for, and helped us understand the market. We were picky! Location, floor plan, price + taxes, size, renovation requirements, etc.
He always helped us establish a baseline and would share comparisons to a previous house in every showing we had. This also helped us understand what the true value of the house was. Then he would present us with a market analysis to back up what the house "should" go for. Having seen houses, and then seeing what they’d close for, he was always very close with his analysis.
In the homes he showed us, he would check on all minor details that I personally wasn’t educated on checking. What shape is the roof in? How is the foundation? What’s the life expectancy on the furnace and water heater? Did they cut corners on remodeling in order to make a few extra bucks? Dave would know.
Fast forward to today, after 5 months of him patiently working with us, and my wife and I being convinced we should wait until after our baby was born in order to buy and move into a home, I’m writing this review from my couch in the perfect house that we now own. Added bonus: the nursery is already painted and ready for its new resident!

George was an absolute wonderful realtor to work with! He made looking for our first home such an easy process. George took us to see a few homes and had no issue returning to one home in particular 3 different times because we kept wanting to go back to it. George is definitely a full FIVE STAR realtor. Read the top part of the basics, but if you want to know more please read the full review. If you want, read it with your favorite narrator’s voice, maybe Morgan Freeman, Davit Attenborough, you get the idea.
Basic review is that George knows his trade very well. He took us from selling our condo all the way to buying a house. In that process George was with us every step of the way. He did a great job setting expectations and exceeding them when it came time to negotiate on our behalf.
Lengthy Review below
I first met George when we decided to sell our condo almost two years ago now. George gave a good first impression. He came to meet my wife and I well dressed and ready to explain the process of selling our condo. He set expectations but also worked with both of us to make sure to define what both my wife and I expected. This process was well thought out and better equipped all of us for communicating throughout the process and what came later.
We sold the condo and were pretty happy with the process. There were a few things here and there but this was also our first time selling. During the sales process, George worked with us to setup our search for a new home for our large family. We set the boundaries for the locations, size, and price. And after that, the search was on.
George was patient with us as we looked for homes. Like many others, our market had low inventory. With that said, we looked at homes that were all over our spectrum of acceptable to nearing our price limit. The first search failed and resulted in us finding a rental instead. George was there to assist in that process as well. While we all had a hope to purchase, it just did not work at that time, but we were able to get into a “suitable” rental for the time needed.
While in the rental, George kept assisting us with our search. He would update the MLS criteria as we needed, and if we needed space he gave that as well. As we entered the opening of the 2025 buying season, George really did a great job assisting us with what to look for and how to assess a home’s value. Like, balancing out a house with most of the work done vs the house that needs $50k-$200k of work, and what it might be like to get the work done and potential time frame.
There were two times that I personally felt that George did a good job aside from the final home sale.
We considered building a home at one point and later a for sale by owner home. Both times George did a great job offering perspective on each scenario. There were a few issues with the build that we had not thought of that George brought up and offered insight. With the for sale by owner, George did a good job of helping layout value and how to approach a potential offer. In both of those circumstances however, we did not move forward, but learned a good deal with each.
When my wife found the home she really wanted, George was ready to negotiate. His skills came out when it was down to the wire for our purchase. The inventory was low and my wife truly wanted into the neighborhood the house is in. The house had been remodeled within the last decade and most what you would want new or not old was relatively new and only about a third through its useful life.
An offer was made. We then found that we had to be a bit more competitive. We discussed our options and strategies with George. We developed our plan and improved the offer. We were very close to what others were offering and in the end it was George. George negotiated and went the extra mile that a professional would do. After all that, and a home search that started in 2019, we had a deal!
I can’t say that the road to the final stop wasn’t without its issues, that is just part of the process in the current market for which we live. But I can say that I would happily work with George again and recommend him to others.

LONG REVIEW WARNING
You can stop searching for a real estate agent now and just hire Michele. I bought my first home in the crazy market in early 2021 and her excellent skills and professional network is the ONLY reason I have my beautiful home. No one else could have done what she did and it’s clear that was her business skill, no luck involved for her.
This is a long review but in summary, she made the home buying process easy no matter how crazy the market was. She is the reason I have a comfortable, beautiful home with everything I needed and wanted IN BUDGET. I repeat, stop searching for an agent and HIRE HER!
1) From the first initial phone consultation she really worked to understand what I needed and what I wanted. I thought I had done a lot of research and thinking myself before I started my formal house search but she helped even more. She helped me realize what was possible, what might not be and to make decisions about what trade offs I might need to make. She made my ideal home sound and feel possible without sugar coating it and making it sound too easy.
2) Touring properties was productive, easy and kind of fun. She was so prepared to answer all my questions about each property and even provided information for questions I didn’t know I needed to ask. She was so patient with my indecision and helped me reach a decision myself. I felt like I had her support and professional expertise but all the decisions were mine and mine alone. When I first started seeing properties I needed to see them a couple of times before I was prepared to make a decision and she was patient with me and the family members I brought with me for support.
3) She was so TIMELY! This was arguably the biggest support in the crazy market I bought in. She was always available so we could go see properties when we needed to and worked around my pretty insane work schedule. With how amazing she is, I’m sure she was working with dozens of clients at the same time but she never made me feel that way when we were working together.
4) With her guidance, the closing process just felt like waiting out a clock, not a deadline. She made it very easy to know what I needed to do and when so I just had to follow the to do list. I had the utmost confidence (and was proven correct) that she was in constant communications with the other members of my mortgage team (bank, attorney, inspector, seller’s agent, etc.). I never felt like I needed to call a dozen people every week to keep them on track to closing. She had it covered and always kept me updated. With her help I was able to get everything settled a couple of weeks before the formal closing and was just waiting for the appointment with the bank and the attorney. On the day of closing she was there to see it through even though there wasn’t anything she needed to physically do.

Nancy was absolutely amazing! We were relocating for my job and she made what could have been miserable experience, actually enjoyable and easy for us. She also never steered us wrong, if she thought the home needed too much work or knew we wouldn’t like a certain area she would let us know. Nancy wasn’t working to sell us a house, she was helping us find the right home to raise our family in. The wonderful home we are in, she found just before it was going to be placed on the market and was one of the few only allowed to come see it.
