How many obstacles can a realtor help you overcome in buying a new home? Devry helped us every step of the way. We started looking for a home in June '22, when the market was hot, and we assumed it would be a 4-6 week task to sell, buy and move in. But then interest rates went up, the sellers market came to a halt. What made it tough was we found the home we wanted in Kimberly but could not do anything until our home sold in Boise. We had to tap our heels for four months until our home sold. Devry stayed in contact with us, even offering rental help while my wife and I had to live apart since she took a new job in Twin. But where Devry showed her inimitable level of service to us, the buyers came when we finally got an acceptable offer on our home. Devry had been keeping an eye on the home we wanted and helped us negotiate a win-win offer to secure it. Then at the closing there were some confusion regarding lot lines and easements that threatened the entire deal. Devry marshaled her various contacts to get us answers quickly; she kept our spirits up when we thought we were back to square one. Days after the closing, Devry is still reaching out helping us tie-up loose ends with our builder. Heidi Tidd was truly excellent in every way. From feeling like she is part of our extended family now, to trusting her to oversee all the details carefully and catch everyone else’s mistakes, we have total confidence in Heidi.

Heidi quickly identified what we were all about, and she directed us to options without wasting our time. She has a vast knowledge of the area and is an excellent communicator. We feel like we know enough of the area to move in and get started without too much further investigation.

Heidi also directed us to excellent contractors. In a five day period, we chose an acreage and hired a builder. We’re also found an available architect. To say “Misty went above and beyond in helping us sell our home and purchase a new home” is an understatement. She truly is the best! It has been 22 years since we bought our home and I had no idea how much the home selling process had changed, so I was constantly asking questions on a daily basis and she truly deserves a medal for having extreme patience with me. I cannot begin to describe how great it was to work with Regina. From the beginning, we knew we were in good hands. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the buying/selling process. We dealt with 3 different builders throughout our 2 year journey. One thing we found out the hard way is that not all builders are created equal (that’s a whole other story). When we encountered some questionable business practices during our journey, Regina didn’t hesitate to contact the builders on our behalf to get to the bottom of it.

In the end, we ended up with a great builder and a beautiful home. We are beyond thankful to Regina for steering us in the right direction–even if that direction meant looking elsewhere from the location we "thought" was our dream house in our dream location. We are extremely picky buyers and we were not prepared to settle. Regina understood the assignment. She understood our needs and worked diligently to find us the perfect area and builder. I used the Powell Group this past month to list and sell a home in Boise, ID. in the Harris Ranch community. I live in California and did not have a local real estate contact and also had the complications of renters in the property at the time this was going to market so was really concerned that this would all be handled properly. I had heard really good things about the Powell group through a friend…​and, after my first meeting with Kirsten and Rick, and seeing the extent of their professional marketing, sales process and complete comprehensive overall well-run operation…​felt very confident contracting with them.

It was the best choice I could have made!! Kirsten and Rick were absolutely so professional and so great to work with and really went over and above in all their efforts. They continued to stay on top of everything with great suggestions, guidance and referrals, and keeping me on pace throughout the entire process. I could not have asked for more complete and timely communications and then how quickly and efficiently they dealt with any concerns or items that arose. When our home buying journey began,we had lined ourselves up with another realtor. We had been trying to build our credit up for a quick move out of our 10 year rental that was to be sold to the owner’s family. We only had 6 short months to work with. I had been surfing homes for sale in the interim, and that’s when Kirsten first reached out to us. Although she wasn’t our actual realtor at the time, she still took the time to answer any questions we might have and never pushed herself or her company on us.
