Compass’s Alesia Barnes is by far the top agent on Oahu and I can’t say enough good things about her. Years ago I called various agents on Oahu to show me various properties they were listing only to go to voice mail and never a return call or returning the call days later. Alesia returned my call IMMEDIATELY, set up viewing appointments, and promptly picked me up at my hotel or airport to view several properties around the island. She provided me with extensive property analysis as well as the history regarding each property, market trends, information about each neighborhood I was interested in, the weather patterns for the area, and a list of fun activities and events around the island.
Any questions I had about a particular property she immediately set out to find the answers for me by calling the listing agent as well as County Planning if there were building, improvement, or zoning questions.
Alesia Barnes went over and above helping me not only with the purchase of the property but also helping me to move in making sure the property was spotless for my move in, literally helping me unload my household shipments, find buyers for any furniture we were not interested in keeping after the sale, but also keeping me updated on Oahu property values and potential other properties available for purchase even before they came on the market.
I had a property I had been trying to sell for over five years with no offers and very few showings. Orion is the man! The bottom line is Cathy is by far the most valuable real estate agent I have ever had or heard of! It would literally take a few pages to list 'all the things' Cathy did on our behalf - well beyond buying our forever home which we couldn’t be happier with. The journey began with a conversation of what we 'thought' we were looking for. Given her knowledge and experience, she opened our mind up to different ideas we had not really considered. We spent 9 hours, starting with her picking us up at our hotel, viewing homes in many areas of the South and East side of the island. Months of Cathy sending us video’s of homes she looked at knowing we would be interested. After my home sold in California, we decided to rent in Kailua, and Cathy walked through the rental we wanted and sent us a video. She spoke to the landlord on our behalf, and in less than 24 hours we had a rental. This during the holidays. Her willingness to go above and beyond with 'all the items' that needed attention concerning the house we wanted to buy was really quite impressive. She never took her foot off the gas pedal, never missed a beat, brought lots of things to our attention - like who to contact to check for our cesspool and the hoops to jump through to put in a pool. If you are looking for a thorough and professional ophthalmologist then Dr. Chen should be your choice. I have never had a more thorough exam for my eyes. During which I was advised that she discovered that I have glaucoma and cataracts, both of which I was never told about but has been present. She also performed eye surgeries for both of my eyes removing two different pterygiums that others did not want to handle, which resulted in the correction of Astigmatism in one eye, and improved vision in both. I am currently being treated for my glaucoma and I am glad she is the Ophthalmologist treating me.

He was ALWAYS available to call and answer my questions and he provided pertinent information as soon as he received it. He guided me to make the best decisions with professional advice, while never coming off as pushy. He marketed my condo very successfully and had constant showings. He took care of details and made calls on my behalf, when the property management company was dragging their feet. His social demeanor with the tenant ensured they were more than willing to let him show the property anytime and that they made the property presentable for showings. Also, Patrick was able to juggle multiple offers, sort through the credible ones, and get me a sales price that was ABOVE the asking price!!!
