Once it was known that we decided to investigate real estate agents, the email never ended. While all agent responses were encouraging, they were primarily based on the property value. One of the first agents to contact us was Elyse Berman. Of course she was interested in getting us the most for our property, yet was not willing to trade a peaceful transaction in order to obtain a higher selling price. Selling my property up north was a nightmare. Bad advise from my realtor, followed by subpar efforts to sell my house. During this session, they took the time to expand my understanding of real estate investing and shared knowledge of the Boca Raton area that only a Boca native would know (investing in a house vs a condo, East Boca vs West Boca, rated schools, and so much more). This is one aspect of their service that sets Team Terry Story apart from the other real estate professionals and firms I’d spoken to from Boca Raton and South Florida: Team Terry Story isn’t just pushing property, they want their clients to be completely satisfied with their purchase.
After helping me fine-tune what I was looking for, Team Story utilized an online portal that sent me listings of properties that were available and met my now narrow criteria. The portal was very easy to use. Being a night-owl, I’d investigate these properties sometimes very late at night and contact Team Story very early in the morning to get a jump on the market. When I contacted Team Story at 5:30am, they responded back at 5:30am. Team Terry Story could not be more responsive. And once I found a property I liked, Team Story fought for me. They arranged a house tour and visited the property the same day I expressed interest and FaceTimed me so I could walk the property with them from Washington, DC. When I didn’t end up liking a property, I initially felt ashamed that I’d wasted their time, but no matter, Team Story could not have been more positive throughout the whole process and would just say, “On to the next.”
